ANALYSIS
Harry Potter is a film series based on the eponymous novels by J. K. Rowling. 10 years of Harry Potter movies from 2001 to 2011 are contained in this dataset. First of all, I queried the data in Microsoft SQL Server for cleaning. I removed the null values in the House column from the Character table. I also selected the gender and counted the number of male and female characters as a human is not a gender.
8 movies were produced during the period in view. The movies made a total of $7.78bn at the box office with a total budget of $1.36bn, generating a profit of $6.42bn. The overall profit margin is 82.6% and the average movie runtime is 147 mins. There were 166 characters in the movies. It has a total of 234 chapters.
The Deathly Hallows Part 2, a movie released in 2011 generated the highest amount in the box office with $1.34bn with a budget of $250M, generating $1.09bn which is 81.4% profit while The Prisoner of Azkaban which has the lowest generated box office amount with $796.7M has a profit margin of 83.7%. The chamber of secrets a movie released in 2002, has the highest profit margin with 88.6%.
Harry Potter as the Star character has 1,922 lines of dialogue, this is followed by Ron Weasley with 865 then Hermione Granger with 848. 21 characters have a line of dialogue.
Gryffindor is the house with the most characters which accounts for 41% of the total while Beauxbaxtons Academy of Magic and Durmstrang Institute has the lowest each which is 2.
82 characters are male while 42 are female. I earlier cleaned the data in Microsoft SQL Server and imported the query into Microsoft Power BI.
Hogwarts is the most used location; Dwelling is next with 1,408 while the least used location is Hogsmeade.

OBSERVATIONS
The number of male characters is almost twice the number of female characters.
All the movies generated a high amount of profit.
The Chamber of Secrets has the highest chapters i.e., 36 while The Deathly Hallows Part 1 has 25 which is the lowest.
Harry Potter the Star character has the lowest lines of dialogue which is 161 in the movie, The Goblet of Fire, and 314 which is his highest line of dialogue in The Order of Phoenix.
